Welcome to a very special workshop in Delhi on Friday April 29th.
10:00am to 12:00pm
We will visit 2 very special shows at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art - Atul Dodya’s “Walking with Waves” and K Ramanujam’s Mythopoetic Universe. Both artists used art as a lens to explore the individual times and spaces that they lived in.
Educators will experience a curator led walk through. This will be followed by a discussion and activity led by the educators at the museum, as well as IADEA, on how to bring these themes into the classroom.
The morning workshop will be followed by a relaxed lunch at KNMA with time to get to know your peers from other schools.
After lunch we will proceed to the India Art Fair for the afternoon. (AC bus transportation will be provided for the group)
2:00pm to 4:30pm IST
A guided visit of selected works at India Art Fair by Kriti Sood, Founder and director of Learning through Arts, Narrative and Discourse. Followed by an exploration of the exhibition using the specially designed educator's worksheets. We will regroup at 4pm to discuss and share thoughts on visiting India's largest exhibition of contemporary art, and how this relates to the art in our classroom.
We can accommodate a maximum of 20 teachers for the special tour on the 29th of April. So please register at the earliest to save your spot! Each school can register up to two teachers. Most of our workshops tend to get over subscribed so if you sign up and then feel that you will not be able to attend for any reason, do send us a mail or call us at +91 7305889926 so we can give your spot to the next person on the waitlist.
