About the Host
Reba Coelho is a certified image consultant, a certified soft-skills trainer, and a certified Train The Trainer ("TTT") trainer. She started her career in the corporate consulting space at Deloitte India. She has been fortunate enough to work with numerous Deloitte Member Firms (across the globe) and has been exposed to industries such as pharmaceutical, fabric, chemical/ paints, and dyes, gold, cloud computing, etc. She has been in the training and development field for 2 years now and has trained over 2000 learners to date. She currently conducts regular training sessions on image management and soft skills subjects related to communication skills, emotional intelligence, change management, customer service, team building, corporate and social etiquette, presentation skills, interview skills, resume making, image management (the power of first impressions) and body language. She primarily works in the Ed-tech and educational industry and has worked on training projects in the IT, real estate, media & pharma industries as well as with co-working spaces.
About the workshop
A great pitch is useful in all aspects of the business. As a freelancer, you’ll be pitching your services morning, noon, and night so you must excel at it. Pitching is like performing and like any performance, it requires you to be able to grab the attention of the audience and retain it for the duration of your pitch. This workshop is going to focus on the art of pitching and the absolute essentials required to deliver a killer pitch
What will you learn
You will learn the essentials required to prepare for a pitch, 5 key strategies that you can use to hook your audience, common mistakes to avoid while pitching, how to ensure a call to action/ how to land your second meeting even if your pitch is as short as 30 seconds. We will also practice a few pitches so come prepared and ready to impress.
