About Hadsar Fort:

Hadsar fort also known as 'Parvatgad’ was one of the most important forts in Junnar region during Raje Shivaji’s as it held control of the trade route in between 'Naneghat'. Constructed during 'Satvaahanas', the entrance gates of the fort are epitomes of the medieval architecture. As ledgends have it, Hadsar was exchanged by 'Shahaji Raje' in the treaty of 1637 with Mughals. British destroyed this fort with other forts in this region in the year 1818 and most of the features of the forts were ruined. However even these remaining ruins and sculptures carved from a single rock attract trekkers like moth to flame.

 Travel to Junnar.

8.30 AM to 9.00 AM: Breakfast. 

09:30 AM Trek Start.

12:00 PM Reached at fort

01:00 PM Descend to base village

02:00 PM Lunch base village

08.00 PM Reached at Pune. (halt for high tea in between)

 What to bring:

Sport shoes. (Floater / sandles not permitted)

Small sack (No Shubnam, Zola, Sling bag, One side bag etc.)

Track pant and full sleeves t-shirt.

Cap.

3 litres water. (Compulsory)
