Green Greater Noida Run

The Hemisphere and Race Directors, Sumeet Aggarwal, Vishal Rastogi, Ajit Motra, Robin Verma (SVAR) and Ravi Kant Mittal, bring you a Green Greater Noida Run in the lush greens around luxury project "The Hemisphere" where life is wonderful.

The registrations for T-shirts and Bibs will be closed will be closed by 25th September. Those who will register after 25th evening 5.00 PM will not get T-shirts and Bibs with Timing Chip. The final registration are closed on 2nd October.

There is no payment and this event is completely sponsored. You will get a free Bib with timing chip, and a finisher medal.

However, you can also get free T-shirt and breakfast coupons in our early bird offer if you register before 15th September as an individual or in a group of 20 or more till 25th September.

The race directors, SVAR and Ravi (aka RKM) believe it will be one of its kind race in lush greens of Greater Noida. It will be a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with G. Noida runners, and promote the concept of jogging tracks, a healthy lifestyle in the campus like Hemisphere.

Sumeet Aggarwal has an experience of organizing charity 5-10 K runs and other events for last 10 years. For XWR, he also organized several runs in Noida for adults and children. Vishal, Ajit and Robin, all from IT/Software background had started few start ups and run various challenges around fitness and Home Living. They started a chapter of XWR in Bangalore with the help of Ajit, and have participated in over 50 NCR runs in last one year. They also helped XWR with great success in “Women Day Run” & “Gyanshree Kiddo Run” which were appreciated by many of Noida residents. Thanks to all who showed tremendous support in these previous events. And we hope to get the same response in this event also.

Ravi Kant Mittal comes from a media background and has a experience of organizing events for past several years. He is an enthsiast runner and apart for motivating people to run in XpressWay Runners, he has started a group called "Let's run" in his office media team at Raipur.

This event is open for

10-15 age groups for children with birth certificate and one parent attendance.

15+ age groups as well (It is advised if parents accompany 15-18 year children as well)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Participation in the Event is subject to the following terms and conditions:

REQUIREMENTS

Everyone properly registered and having an official race number bib for Green Greater Noida Run can take part in the Event.

All athletes aged 10+ will be admitted in the race.

All Participants under the age of 18 will need consent from a parent or guardian.

All participants under the age of 15 should be accompanied by one parent. Proof of identity and age may be required.

No extra club or federation membership will be required. Your entry/ registration fee covers all fees.

Events timings will be between 5.00 am to 8.30 am on 16th October 2016, Sunday.

Depending race categories, exact race time slots will be allocated and intimated on submitted contact details.

Participant needs to show original age certificate while collecting the BIB.

Every participant should carefully read the race information placed on the website and sent to each individual in the race pack and on emails time to time.

Every participant will get finisher medal after completion of the race.

OBLIGATIONS

Every participant shall make sure that his/her health is in a condition that allows him/her to take part in the Event, and consult a doctor if necessary. However, a basic FIRST AID medical facility will be provided in case of any emergency/ injuries.

He/she shall have proper sports footwear and clothing. Participants are supposed to maintain cleanness at the Stadium and do not cause any damages to the Government premises.

A participant must comply with instructions and directions given by the Organizer, the officials and race referees/ coaches. Referees decision will be final for all race categories.

Parents are not allowed to come on track while any racing event is going on. They should occupy stadium spectator’s seats.

Please note that the registration fee mentioned in the participation entry form will not be refunded if the candidate fails to participate in the event.

CONTRACT

Each participant may not participate in more than single run. He/ She are not allowed to participate in multiple events.

The contract shall be considered concluded when:

a) the applicant accepts the terms and conditions of participation and the regulations by clicking the relevant field in the ONLINE registration form; and

b) the participant has received confirmation that they can take part in the Event. In the case of minors the registration form must be signed by a parent or guardian who at the same time confirms his/her acceptance of the terms and conditions of participation.

A right to take part in the Event is non-transferable without the written permission of the Organizer.

PAYMENT

There is no payment and this event is completely sponsored. You will get free timing chip, T-shirt, Breakfast and a finisher medal subject to early bird offer if you register before 25th September.

This event is help to encourage 'running' and 'fitness' as a life choice to prevent any health accidents in their life journey.

ACCREDITATION

All race information packs, including race number will have to be collected by the participant on Bib Collection Day almost 1 week before the Event. Exact Date & Venue will be intimated through SMS and emails.

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT OF EVENT / NO-SHOW

If the Event is postponed because of circumstances of force majeure, the participant’s entry will be deferred to the new date for the Event.

All claims will be forfeited for no-shows.

LIABILITY

Participation will be at the participant’s own risk. Parents will be responsible for pick & drop facilities of their kids.

Other than as stated below, the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense caused by cancellation, curtailment or change of schedule of the Event because of government action, strike, civil commotion, and national disaster or other force majeure event or cause beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser.

By receiving the race number every participant will state in a binding manner that there are no health concerns as regards his/her participation in this race.

COLLECTION AND USE OF DATA

Personal data disclosed on the registration form will be transferred to the Organizer who will process the personal data only for the purpose of organizing the Event.

The Organiser in the Event will take care for time keeping, placing and result announcement.

A participant agrees that his/her photographs can be disclosed to the photographer appointed by the Organiser, for the purpose of sharing event photos online.

An applicant must inform the Organiser of any change of address, contact telephone number or email address. The Organiser accepts no liability for an applicant’s failure to do so. Please note that the preferred method of contact is by email to xpresswayrunners@gmail.com

MISCELLANEOUS

By attending the Event, a participant consents to filming and sound recording of themselves as Event participants. The Organiser and [its licensees] and those authorized by it may use such films and recordings (including any copies) without payment.

The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify a participant at any point on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right. By way of example, a participant may be disqualified if he/she has behaved in a manner which, in the reasonable opinion of the Organiser, has, or is likely to affect the safety of other participants; or uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or in the reasonable opinion of the Organiser is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs or fails, when required to produce proof of identity or age.

If any provision of these terms is declared by any judicial or other competent authority to be void voidable illegal or otherwise unenforceable the provision shall be amended in such a reasonable manner or it may be severed from the terms and in either event the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

LAW AND JURISDICTION

These conditions are subject to Indian Law and Jurisdiction at Delhi.
