Event Information

Therefore Design, in association with 3P Group, presents a 3-part webinar series for the Indian food industry. A conversation with various industry experts, this webinar series will explore various facets of the F&B industry, with respect to COVID-19.

Part 3 of the series will take a look at how the industry can transition towards a speedy recovery, with respect to:
  • Technology usage and self-sufficiency for new product development
  • Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs)
  • Understanding consumer behaviour and realigning
Overview
The F&B industry in India comprises of diverse companies that work in the areas of food processing, packaging, and distribution that include prepared foods, packaged foods, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Just like almost every other industry, the F&B industry has been hit substantially due to the pandemic and is all set to change in many ways. However, it is imperative to realise that the industry also has the potential to bounce back soon. Because, through the pandemic, if there is one fact that has come to light, it is that consumers have continued to spend on food items, packaged foods and other essentials to ensure that their pantries remain well-stocked.
How well the industry conforms to certain best practices in the months to follow, will set the tone for the success it will enjoy on the other side of the pandemic. This webinar thus seeks to find answers to some pertinent questions such as:
  • How will the ‘anti-China’ scenario play out in terms of self-sufficiency in the food industry, vis-à-vis technology and equipment/ machinery?
  • What is the future of food processing Vision 2030?
  • How can brands stay afloat and align with changing consumer expectations?
Who Should Attend
The webinar is ideal for professionals from the F&B industry
  • Brand managers for F&B brands
  • Restaurant owners
  • F&B start-ups
  • Food technologists
