Join us for a film screening of Nicolas Roeg's "Don't Look Now(1973)" on the 20th October,4:30PM at Panuval Book Store, Thiruvanmiyur.

Organised by Madras Film Screening Club, a film society based out of Chennai and who have been conducting film screenings for the last three years now.

Based on a story by Daphne du Maurier, whose works inspired Alfred Hitchcock's REBECCA and THE BIRDS, "Don't Look Now(1973)" centres on John and Laura Baxter (Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie), who have recently relocated to Venice so that John can oversee the architectural restoration of an old church. While in that elegantly decaying city, they have a series of inexplicable, terrifying, and increasingly dangerous experiences.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion on the film.
