In a space starved & polluted city like Mumbai, kids barely get to experience nature and its benefits.We have organised a fun fam-farm-jam getaway wherein you participate in exciting outdoor family activities likeTractor Riding, WarliArt painting, Farm visitsand Nature Walking. Spend the night amidst oodles of fun, games, singing, creating bonfire, all this while sleeping under a starlit sky!Sounds like a blissful Christmas, right? So, tuck yourself away from all the obnoxious celebrations, this year let Christmas be reconnecting with yourself and your loved ones!

Activities have been designed to promote lifelong healthy habits related to physical well-being & making a meaningful contribution to the eco-system and to the society overall.All in all, be assured that it will be a great family bonding and enlightening session.

Dates: 22-23rd December 2018

 

Location: Wada-Palghar

 

Activities Included: Camping, Farming, Village Life, Tent Pitching, Campfire making, Tractor Riding, Fruit Plucking (Seasonal), Fun Archery,Warli Painting & Nature Walk.

 

Morning: Arrive at the Organic Farm located 2 hours away from Mumbai. Breakfast at the Farm.

 

Afternoon: Participants would undergo an orientation session & partake in activities like organic farming where they will learn from an expert about local plants & harvesting process, composting& water conservation techniques. Typical village lunch served.

 

Evening: Enjoy activities like TractorRide, Fruit Plucking (seasonal)& Farm visit,Pitching own Tents, Cooking own food, Singing, Creating Bonfire!

 

Next Morning:Morning Nature walk followed by Tile Painting &Warli Painting. Wrap tents &Check-out post breakfast.

                                                                                                 

Our Promise:

• The campsite location is inside a gated Farm-house to ensure safety of children
• Our Leaders are trained to help in First-aid and emergency handling of minor issues such as infections, cuts, bruises, flu etc.
• All our sites are chosen in close proximity of a city, so emergency Medical assistance is available on call 24/7.
• Clean separate washrooms for girls & boys available at site

Meals:

• Breakfast Day 1 & Day 2
• Evening - Tea and Snacks
• Lunch &Dinner (Simple Authentic Maharashtrian Veg & Non-Veg)
• Drinking Water Can (20-liter bottles & dispenser)

 

Accommodation in either Tents OR Dorms

• Bed& Blanket
• Double/ Triple Sharing Tents AND/ OR 20-Bed Dorm

 

Things to wear:

• Full/ Half sleeve T-shirt with stretchable Gym Pants/ Yoga/ Track pants/ Shorts.
• Comfortable pair of sport shoes.
• Jacket/ Warm clothes for the night
• Change of clothes for morning

 

Things to be carried:

• Handy Food (Dry Snacks, Biscuits etc)
• Torch/ Flash Light
• Empty Water Bottle to refill at site
• Personal First Aid Kit
• Cap, Sunglasses, Sunscreen etc.
• Electral powder / Glucon D / Tang
• Personal Sanitary Kit
• Dry Towel, Extra Pair of Clothes and Socks
• A pair of light slippers/ flip flops
• Extra blanket (if necessary)
• Insect repellent cream

NOTE:

• This is a form of Eco-tourism for a social cause. Your travel will enhance the livelihood of the villagers since part of the income generated will be earned by them.
• The accommodation is at a simple village farm house. Clean shared dorm rooms with attached sanitation will be provided. Do not expect luxury, but we assure homely hospitality.
• The food will be simple but tasty authentic village food.
• You have to arrange for your own transportation vehicle.
• Local Taxi/Shared Taxi can be arranged based on actual.
• The itinerary can be customized exclusivelyfor large groups.

Terms and Conditions of Service (TACS)

 

• You (“The user”) understand that there are inherent risks of the services which may or may not be directly provided by Carvan Trips (“Us”/ “The Company”) in which the user may engage.
• The user confirms that they are physically and mentally capable of availing the service.
• The users’ participation is voluntary and the user shall under no circumstance hold Carvan Trips responsible for any injury, accidents, illness and damage to or loss of personal property as the result of any incident or accident that may occur during the period of service.
• The conduct and behaviour of the user should not cause distress or harm to anyone including other user members, Carvan Trips’ staff, service providers etc; in which case we/ service providers reserve the right to ask you to immediately leave, or in certain circumstances, hand you over to the appropriate authorities, in which case the financial liability would be of the user.
• If for any reason the user wishes to abruptly end the trip before its scheduled completion, or is unable to participate due to being unfit, we will not be responsible to provide any refund and the financial liability for making any alternate arrangements would be of the user.
• The user is responsible to follow the instructions of the leader/ service provider and the user has to bear all the expenses which may arise in case for medical exigency or any emergency condition.
• Cuts, bruises and minor injuries are normal for an adventure activity. First aid kit is provided and the coordinators are trained to respond in such situations. Carvan trips takes all the reasonable steps to provide basic safety required for the particular activity.
• During the trip, the trip leader’s decision will be final decision, whatsoever.
• Carvan trips hold the rights to change the itinerary or even cancel the activity in case of any unexpected change in weather or other unpredicted situations occur that are beyond our control. Carvan trips will not be liable for any costs such as travel or accommodation incurred by the participant in such circumstances.
• All activities are described as accurately as possible; however, the exact arrangements may differ slightly on any given day. Photographs are used for representation purpose and should be taken as a guide only.
• It is mandatory to disclose any personal medical conditions so that prior arrangements can be made. Carvan trips do not hold any responsibility for the outcome of any undisclosed medical condition during the trip.
• Drinking is prohibited in public
• Carvan Trips is not responsible for any unforeseen damage brought to participant's personal belongings or personal vehicle during the trip.
• If participants are found violating the rules, Carvan trips reserve all the rights to remove the participant from the group. In such situation, no refund shall be provided.
