About the Festival
The Mask Festival, also known as FAGLI of PHAGLI is celebrated with great pomp and glory in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh during winter season. During this festival, masked men dance to the tunes of traditional trumpet and drums, perform a psychedelic dance all day, and visit homes in the village to share blessings for the harvest season. The underlying spirit of this 2-day festival is unlimited supply of drinks that keeps them going. Fagli is characterized as a festival related to harvest and the winter crops are reaped after the festival.

 

Itinerary:

Day 0: 12 Feb 2019: Departure around 10:00 pm from Chandigarh for an overnight journey to Tirthan Valley. 

Day 1: 13 Feb 2019: Good Morning in Tirthan Valley. Check-in to the Homestay for freshen up and Change. After breakfast explore the Tirthan valley. In the evening you are around the bonfire with snacks and Music. 

Day 2: After Breakfast proceeds toward the Nagani village to attend the festival and explore the ancient architecture of Himachal Pradesh. In the evening leave from the village to the homestay for bonfire and dinner that awaiting you.

Day 3: After breakfast, Check-out from the Homestay and we will proceed to Jalori Pass. As you reach there enjoy the beautiful view and start your photo session in the snow. After spending some time at  Jalori Pass we will proceed our back journey towards Chandigarh with lots of new memories and experiences to share.
