Faculty Development Program workshop- a 5-day workshop on "Drone Applications", an initiative under the project " Capacity Building for Human Resources in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone & related technology)

The following are few of the topics that will be covered in a span of 5 days:

Theory: Modelling & Simulation, Drone Control & Navigation, Sense & Avoid & path planning, Simultaneous Localization & mapping, Drone Perception

Software Modules: MATLAB Drone Simulation & Programming, Deep Learning frameworks like Pytorch, ROS, Embedded systems

Application: Agriculture & Pest Detection, Mapping & Survey, Change Detection, Search & rescue, 3D Reconstruction

Experiments: Drone Assembly, Lab visit/Simulator/propulsion system testing, Hands-on training for Object Detection Models, Introduction to Real-time Analytics on Edge Devices
