Where does queerness live in your body? When do you feel safe and comfortable to move? How can we learn to cultivate gender euphoria within ourselves?
Li/Liactuallee is a yoga instructor by day, mixed media visual artist by night. They DO EVERYTHING! (or at least dabble).
Their main goal in life is to create with intentionality, not be afraid to try new things, to make a mess, to fall down. Constantly rethinking relationships to ecologies, through their artwork, they try to explore the natural world as a way into their own transient identity. Through repetition, these practices are transformative, and they hope to share their strategies and outcomes for inner change.
In the age of fast internet, performative productivity, and social media, it can often be hard to take a moment to breathe and slow down. Even though most of us work from home in the era of the pandemic, it's really easy to lose sight of self care, mental health, and regular sleeping patterns. Living a queer exitence comes with it's fair share of triggers and traumas, and rarely do we find safe space for regeneration within the context of westernized heteronormative modern yoga. Through restorative yoga practice, I hope to offer a safe, queer-affirmitive, trauma-informed space for slow passive stretches and meditation. This mode of yoga is shown to encourage relaxation of the nervous system, helping us restore the mind and body. By envoking our queer ancestors and regenerating energies, let's cultivate a culture for all gender expression and sexuality!

- support (anything you can cuddle with, pillows, bolsters, blankets etc)
- your queer butt!
