In this workshop your child will learn the basics of drawing an animal to scale. They will follow our step by step instructions using shapes and lines to make a small drawing to a large animal.

This is tricky so your child will learn tricks for calming down and thinking helpfully when their drawing is not working out. We will also explore how to grow a healthy mindset that will help your child to tackle tricky situations.
Materials needed:
• Pencil HB and pen
• Ruler
• 3-4 A4 pieces of paper
Your child will also receive a pack of animals to practice their new skills after workshop.
Parents, what would you do with an hour to yourself?
Each week on Thursday we will give you the gift of time. One hour for you while they learn a new skill or you can join in for a hour of quality time with your children.
We have come up with a series of activities for children aged from 6 years old that can be done with stuff you already have at home such as scissors, photocopy paper, pencils and some recycled objects such as cardboard and a spare toilet roll or two.
Younger children can join in but they may need some help from a parent.
As well as flexing creative muscle, each lesson comes with a DOSE of resilience. A simple life lesson such as learning how to react with confidence when they make a mistake or learning to break down problems to solve a creative challenge. Each lesson comes with a Cheat Sheet for you to reinforce the resilience lesson from the class and a weekly creative challenge for the kids.
Book one class, book a few!
