Devkund Waterfall Trek with Ninja Camps

Details of Place
The name Devkund means “Bathtub of God/Goddess”. It is a very beautiful spot situated around Tamhini Ghat Area. This place is an important tourist attraction owing to its alluring waterfalls and natural beauty. Perched on a hill, Maa Ambika is highly revered deity in this region, whose idol was moved to Ambika Temple in Baripada.

Dates – 15th July 2017, 11.30pm
Itinerary:
11.30pm- Gather at Dadar Hindmata Chowk, meet your co-travellers and leaders
12.30am – We start in private vehicle to the base village. This journey is over 3-3.5 hrs long. Have a quick nap in the vehicle so that you will be fresh next day for the trek and scenic beauty
4am – Reach Base Village. It’s time to get freshen up in base village. Get yourself ready at earliest
5.30am – It’s time for a round of introduction, instructions over the breakfast and Tea.
6am – Its time to start the trek now. Its 2 to 2.5 hrs enjoyable trek
8.30am – Reach the waterfall. Now this is your time guys, click as many photos as you want, enjoy the waterfall, make sure you make most of it. Very Important thing to note is, don’t pollute the area with plastic or garbage
10.30am – Its now time to start descend. You will need max 2 hrs to reach the base village again
12.30am – Arrive at base again, get fresh. You have change rooms available for gents and ladies as well
1pm – We have our delicious lunch at village
2.30pm – Start Journey toward Mumbai to reach by 6pm
The trek ends here with loads of happy memories, beautiful photos and an addiction for more trekking experience. Will depart to our ways after a group photo only to meet again in next treks.
Things to carry –
1. Min 1 Litre of Water Bottle
2. Good Trekking Shoes, or Sandals with proper grip
3. Morning Refreshment Kit, sanitizer if needed, mosquito repellent cream like Odomos
4. A pair of spare clothes wrapped in plastic bags
5. Any medicines if required at individual level(Leaders will have basic medical kit)

Note –
1. Consumption of alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited. If found even after warning issued, the person will be asked to leave by the leader.
2. Any plastic waste should not be thrown over the trek and it should be kept with you. You can deposit all waste in the dust bin at base village once trek is over
3. In case of any unforeseen natural calamities, final decision will be taken by group leader which will be binding upon all
Refund Rules –
1. Refund up to 100% before 72 hours
2. Refund of 50% from 72 hrs upto 24 hrs
3. No refund within last 24 hrs of commencement of journey
