Devkund Camping & Trekking

Devkund is a dream destination for travellers looking for a mix of hike that leads to beautiful waterfall with clearest blue water makes the beauty of the waterfall unrealistic. The first sight of this beauty leaves you spellbound by its humongous size.

Devkund Falls is located near Bhira in Raigad district of Maharashtra. It is a 'plunge' waterfall pouring massive amounts of water on the rocky surface underneath.

You get to enjoy bonfire and barbecue and spend time dancing at the campsite at night. There are also ample opportunities to observe the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of the locals of Bhira. Set out for the exhilarating trek early in the morning so that you get to view the waterfalls at its beautiful best. Traverse the forested paths from Bhira to Devkund and witness the confluence of three rivers. Considered as the origin point of Kundalika River, the place does charm you with its natural beauty.

Brief Itinerary:
Day 1: Mumbai - Bhira
17:00 - Meet the team near Pritam hotel, Dadar
17:30 - Leaving for Devkund in a private bus. In route pick available.
Chembur - Vashi – Kharghar (Contact for exact pickup points)
Bond over bus journey with songs and antakshari
21:30 - Reach base village. Relax and freshen up.
22.00 - Have delicious home made dinner
23:00 - Reach campsite and set up tents.
Camping begins - Campfire, Stories, Music, Dance

Day 2: Bhira - Devkund – Mumbai
05:30 - Wake up call & freshen up. Another hike awaits, but only for the enthusiasts.
06:30 - have breakfast and start trek through forest towards Devkund waterfall.
08:30 - Reach Majestic Devkund waterfall, relax and have fun in the water. Photo session
12:00 - Return to base, have Lunch.
13:00 - Leave for Mumbai in a private bus.
17:00 - Reach Mumbai and bid adieu with a promise to meet soon.
Trek concludes with happy memories :)

Things to carry:
1. Identity proof
2. Water Bottle (2 Liters Compulsory)
3. Electral Powder / Energy bars / Dry Snacks (dry fruits. biscuits, plum cakes etc.)
4. Good grip quality trekking shoes – Must (Please check soles of your shoes and get them stitched if necessary)
5. Personal Medication (if any)
6. Toiletries (Napkin, facewash, tissue paper etc.)
7. Torch
8. Cap, goggles, sunscreen etc.
9. Slippers (optional – at the end of trek so that your feet can relax)
10. Proper Backpack to carry all these things

Cancellation and Refund:
● If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% will be refunded
● After that no refund will be provided

Important Note:
- Do not wear precious Jewelry while trekking, as we won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
- Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.
- Mountains are a place of rich natural beauty. Hence, it is our duty to keep them free from garbage. So please do not litter. One is expected to deposit all wrappers/empty water bottles etc. in his/her own bag.
