Wars We Love
“When you walk with Sherlock Holmes, you see the battlefield. You’re not haunted by the war, Doctor Watson. You miss it.”, said Mycroft to Watson.
Is he the only one addicted to the constant high one achieves when one manages to keep up? Survival in the battlefield (whether figurative or literal) is something to flaunt and choosing not to battle is scoffed at. Peace is a destination we constantly dream about yet are subconsciously very afraid to reach it. Who will I be? What will I do? What will my contribution be?
Let's explore why we secretly enjoy playing the dual role of the abuser and the abused, this Friday, together :)
The workshop will be run by Priya Krishnan of Slow School and will start at 1800. We will use a mix of reflection, interactive exercises, readings, and silence to explore these aspects of the wars we wage within us.
