Event Overview

Plus Valley is a beautiful and infrequently explored valley situated in the Tamhini Ghats amidst four majestic hills giving a plus sign shape to this Valley. Descending this 2000ft deep valley is comparatively easy, but the thrilling factor gets throttled once you reach the rappelling point. The first Rappelling is approx. 130fts and the immediate next rappelling is approx. 250fts. Out of this approx. 200ft is sheer overhang which will lands directly besides a huge pond. This pond at the base is known as Devkund which is Much bigger than Sandhan doh Pond.

After Night camping at the base the journey next morning is through beautiful flora and breathtaking scenarios where the trail runs parallel to the huge and beautiful Bhira dam reservoir till the Bhira dam which is the end destination for this fantastic trek.

Day 1 - Plus Valley Rappelling and Camping

• 05:00 Start Pickup from Nigdi

• 05:07 Chinchwad

• 05:15 Nashik Fata

• 05:30 Shivaji Nagar

• 05:40 Swargate

• 05:45 Start Journey towards plus valley base village.

• 07:15 - Breakfast and Brief introduction, safety instructions

• 07:45 - Start trek

• 09:00 Reach rappelling point and start rappelling

• Packed lunch on the way

• 17:00 Reach the camp site & rest for the day

• 20:00 - Dinner, Goodnight

• Day 2 - Walking Towards Bhira Dam

• 06:00 - Wakeup call

• 07:20 - Breakfast.

• 08:00 Wind up and start walking towards Bhira dam

• 13:00- Lunch at Bhira village

• 14:00 Depart for Pune and Mumbai

• 17:00 Reach Pune or Mumbai (it may delay bt 1- 1.5 hours)

●A haversack / Backpack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking
