Delhi, January 15, 2019: With the aim to enable children with the tools and skills to transform themselves, British Council is hosting a fun-filled day of learning. These engaging workshops will help children exercise their creative juices at storytelling as well learn to manage emotions.

Activity: Rocking, Rip-roaring Roosters – A storytelling Session
Storytelling is an art that engages children and gives them the freedom to unleash a world of possibilities. Come join us to listen to the full story of the Rip-roaring Roosters. This would be an interactive session with games and craft activities.
Age Group: 5-7 years
Time: 11 am to 1 pm
Activity: Emotionally Yours
Humans are social beings and it is essential to learn social skills at an early age. Eight primary in-built emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, joy, interest, surprise, disgust and shame; resentment, violence and anxiety are acquired emotions that get expressed in the most uncomfortable ways. Therefore, helping children manage their emotions is an extremely important part of teaching. This workshop intends to assist children identify their emotions, express their feelings and provides them a framework to deal with those emotions in a socially appropriate way.
Age Group: 8-11 years
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm
