Supper Clubs of India: A Khasi Feast

Bengaluru Servd and NIC Ice Creams present: Supper Clubs of India - Bengaluru Edition, a series of intimate dining experiences highlighting regional community-style meals and cuisines from across India!

For our first Supper, we’re delving into the Khasi cuisine of Shillong!

Symbai, a popup started by sisters Daphimanroi and Dakiwanri Warjri, was named after the Khasi word meaning Seed with the intention of planting the seed of knowledge about the cuisine and culture.

For the past 3 years, they have been sharing the wholesome flavours of dishes such as their signature Smoked Pork (doh thad kylla), Radish Salad (muli khleh) and the Pomelo Mustard Salad (soh khleh).

Using seasonal ingredients, they’re all set to debut in Bengaluru with traditional recipes from the Khasi Hills.

To end the meal we have a delicious dessert paired with a handcrafted NIC Ice Creams flavour!

Also sip on cocktails crafted exclusively for the cuisine throughout the supper.

1. Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.

2. An Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check the total amount before payment

3. We recommend that you arrive at the venue on time to ensure the event starts on time for all participants. Since this is a group meal experience, we will wait until 12:45pm for majority of the group to reach before we start the meal with Chef.

4. We will not be able to wait beyond the start time mentioned in point 3.

5. Kindly note that this is a set menu by the chef and single portions of each course will be served.

8. Children under the age of 10 are not permitted for the event. Kindly inform us in advance in case a child under the age of 10 is accompanying you. 

9. The venue may have a high table & chair seating set up.
