Battle of Bands

Rules and Regulations:
•    Participants must have a valid college ID card to participate.
•    Band needs to register on the website with all the relevant details.
•    Bands must consist of minimum 2 members.
•    Bands are required to submit the band profile and a video link of their performance on this email address - cultural@sibmpune.edu.in.
•    In case of more than 5 entries, there will be an online audition round from which Top 5 Entries will be selected to perform at the event.
•    Bands selected will be given 5 minutes of sound-check and 7 minutes maximum of on-stage performance. (Participants will lose points if they exceed the time limit)
•    Selected bands will be informed via mail.
•    Bands are required to bring their own gear and equipment (cables, jacks etc). A Five Piece Drum-kit will be provided.
•    Band members are responsible for the security of their equipment and the event organizers shall be held liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment.
•    Team members cannot be a part of more than one band.
•    Usage of foul language will lead to disqualification from Battle of Bands.
•    On the day of the performance, band members must be dressed in clothing free of graphics depicting obscenities, drugs, alcohol, or any other subject matter not suitable for a SIU audience.
•    Violations of any rule will lead to direct disqualification from Battle of Bands.
•    Final jurisdiction lies in the hands of the judges.
•    The contestants will be judged on the basis of:
                     > Stage performance and overall potential
                      >Quality of Music (Rhythm & Pitch, Extra points for originality)
                      >Co-ordination
                      >Energy
                      >Crowd Reaction
