Taking photographs is easy but “Making an Image” is an art. Learn how to compose correctly, know the golden triangle of ISO - Aperture - Shutter speed. Know how to use the light to your advantage. From portraits to candids, from wildlife to streets,from flowers to landscapes......Learn the “Art of Photography” with award winning professional photographer Sreekumar Krishnan.

Spread over 2 days the workshop gives you the power to create better images by following some simple rules. 

The first day gets you into the technical aspects and practise sessions with individual attention. Second day starts with being exposed in real situations with a  theme to follow. Each individuals' image will be evaluated and there will be some cool prizes for the winners too.

In it's 3rd year the "Living Lens Making Images Matter" photoworkshop in collaboration with NGO Friends of Tribal Society (FTS) has already helped students ,working executives, house wives to find the Joy in Photography. Part of the proceeds goes towards helping the tribals through FTS.

About Sreekumar Krishnan

Award winning professional photographer and teacher of photography, Sreekumar founded The Living Lens 2 years ago. In a very short span of time, he made his mark in the industry working with Google, Hero, GE Healthcare, Apsara Silks, Britannia, Noida International University and recently shot exclusively for the Masterchefs when they came to Bangalore in June 2016.

In Jan 2017 he was the exclusive photographer for Mrs India Karnataka finale. 

He won numerous awards for his photography across different genres from Wildlife, Street, Portraits, Environmental and his work Indian Sunshine was displayed at the Louvre in France last year. National Geographic featured "the mystical birds of Bharatpur" as Shot of the day. His works have been displayed at Chitrakala Parishad in Bangalore also.

What differentiates him from others is the ability to touch the deep subconscious levels and bring out moments which the client cherishes forever. 

People who have experienced his shooting style calls it a Spiritual cleansing.

His workshops are a one on one, a deeper understanding on creating better images using simple techniques which have basis in spirituality and the way nature works.

When he is not shooting, he teaches meditation for he finds both photography and spirituality are based on the Light and he explores this aspect in his journey of the Light.

Terms & conditions for the workshop

• Camera to be carried – can be a Point & Shoot camera, which will have the settings for Aperture, Shutter etc., or the DSLR (preferred).

• If there are lenses additionally please carry them

• Battery charged camera

• Memory card

• Images which you have taken

• Refund in the event of no show or cancellation is not applicable, but can be adjusted for subsequent sessions or transferred to another person in writing.
