1) The Verdict : 8 Vs 1 - Women's Rights: Shield or Weapon ? 

Abstract : In an era of polarized perspectives, where do we draw the line? "The Verdict" is a high-stakes, 8-vs-1 "Jubilee-style" gauntlet designed to stress-test the limits of logic and conviction. Eight elite student challengers stand united to defend the "Shield" against a lone guest defender upholding the "Weapon" stance. Through raw, rapid-fire mental combat and a unique card-based governance system, the audience will witness modern gender politics in its most unfiltered form.

The Defender: Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj

A fearless voice in India’s gender politics, Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj is a journalist and filmmaker dedicated to uncovering the "other side" of matrimonial law. Her landmark documentary, Martyrs of Marriage, exposed the consequences of legal exploitation, establishing her as a leading advocate for systemic fairness.

2) EVENT SHOWDOWN

Event Name: Bridge the Gap – Structural Showdown

Event Description:

Participants must construct a bridge using only the materials provided on the spot. The bridge must span a specified distance and hold the maximum possible load without collapsing. The team whose bridge sustains the highest load while following all constraints will be declared the winner.

Rules & Format:

1. This is an *on-the-spot team event*.
2. Each team will be given identical materials (to be announced at the venue).
3. No additional materials are allowed.
4. Time limit: (e.g., 60–90 minutes).
5. The bridge must:
    a) Span a fixed gap (e.g., 30–50 cm).
    b) Not touch the ground between supports.

6. After construction, bridges will be tested by gradually applying weight.
7. The bridge that holds the *maximum load* without structural failure wins.
8. Judges’ decision will be final.

Evaluation Criteria:

* Maximum load sustained
* Structural efficiency (Load / Self-weight ratio)
* Design stability
* Aesthetic appeal (optional)

 Team Size: 2–4 members per team
