Amravati Half Marathon 2026

Amravati Marathon Association is organizing Amravati Half Marathon

event from 2016. This HM event is well known for its neat and excellent

organization. Rs.4,50,000 is the total cash prize across different categories.

To encourage the out of Maharashtra runners, special category for Out of

Maharashtra runners is created and separate cash prizes are kept for them.

Earlier eight events were a great success. People from all walks of life from

10 years to 80 years enthusiastically participated.
We encourage children to participate and special Children’s Dream Run, a 5 KM Category is

introduced from the beginning.

1) Half Marathon, Categories: Participants must have completed 18 years

of age on the day of event.

a) Male below 45 years of age, OPEN CATEGORY.

b) Male above 45 years of age, VETERN CATEGORY.

c) Female below 40 years of age, OPEN CATEGORY.

d) Female above 40 years of age, VETERN CATEGORY

2) 10 Km POWER RUN : Male and Female above 15 years of age. No age

category.

3) 5 Km Children’s Dream Run : Children between 10 to 15 years

(Boys/Girls)

4) 5 Km Fitness Run : Male and  Female above 15 years of age. No age

category.

5) Out of Maharashtra Runners: Half Marathon: Male and Female, (no age

category) Special category for runners from out of Maharashtra is

created. Even separate cash prizes are also kept for these runners.

RACE DIRECTOR: Dilip Patil is the Race Director for this event. He is keen

Marathon Runners and started running from 2003. He ran more than 100

Marathons in India and abroad. International Marathons includes Mumbai,

Munich, Prague (Czech Republic), Jungfrau (Switzerland), Dubai, Du-Medoc

(France), Amsterdam, New York, Chicago, Abu Dhabi, Berlin, Tokyo, Leh

Ladakh, New York, Boston, Tokyo, Pondicherry etc.

He also successfully completed 10 COMRADES MARATHON and 6 World Major

Marathons.
