AMK Stands for Alang – Madan – Kulang. This one of the toughest treks in the Sahyadris. The Trek requires High endurance, each day a walk of 8 hours is needed to complete this trek in 3 days. This Trek is a perfect mixture of Trekking, Climbing, Rappelling, Traversing, Jungle Walk & of course unbelievable Satisfaction. So get ready for the exiting adventure in Sahyadri

Departure: 11:00 p.m. from S. P. College, Tilak Road. (Thursday Night)

Arrival: 10:30 p.m. At S. P. College, Tilak Road. (Sunday Night)

 

Itinerary:

 

Previous Night (Thursday)

11:00 p.m. – Departure from S. P. College.

 

LATECOMERS will have to make their own travel arrangements to meet us on the way or to the destination.

 

11:15 p.m. – Pickup from Bremen Chowk, Aundh.

11:30 p.m. – Pickup from Nashik Phata, Nashik Road.

 

Event Day 1 (Friday)

05:00 a.m. – Reach Udadavane (Base village)

Morning Ablutions till the Wee hours.

05:45 a.m. – Breakfast

06:30 a.m. – Trek starts post Introduction & Instructions Round

01:00 p.m. – Reach the cave atop Alang Fort.

01:30 p.m. – Lunch.

03:00 p.m. – Trek towards Madan fort & reach atop the fort by Sunset.

We will have to rappel Alang (60 ft) & climb Madan rock patch (40 ft) to reach atop Madan.

09:00 p.m. – Dinner

10:00 p.m. – We call this Long day off.

Campfire continues (‘Early to Bed’ people can choose to call it a day by 10:30 p.m.)

Event Day 2 (Saturday)

06:00 a.m. – wakeup call & time for morning Ablutions.

06:45 a.m. – Breakfast

07:30 a.m. – Start trek towards Kulang.

We will rappelling the 40ft patch of Madan & walk on a traverse on the way to Kulang Fort.

11:00 a.m. – reach the Alang-Madan Col & Trek towards Kulang

Lunch on the way.

05:00 p.m. – Reach Kulang Fort.

Explore the fort till Sunset.

07:00 p.m. – Start Campfire & a session of Gupshup

09:00 p.m. – Dinner

10:00 p.m. – Retire for the Day.

 

Event Day 3 (Sunday)

06:00 a.m. – wakeup call & time for morning Ablutions.

07:00 a.m. – Breakfast

08:00 a.m. – Start trek towards base village.

12:00 noon – Reach the base village Kurungwadi.

01:00 p.m. – Lunch.

02:00 p.m. – Start Return Journey towards Pune

09:00 p.m. – Reach back to Pune.

Transport by Non AC High Back Private Vehicle (Pune – Udadavane & Ambewadi - Pune).

Certified & Experienced Trek Leads.

Trekking, Rock Climbing, Rappelling with all safety Gears.
