Join us for a Sunday morning stroll dotted with natural wonders in Juhu- Mumbai’s unique neighbourhood along the Konkan coast. Walk under a canopy of green in Juhu’s residential lanes and expect surprises as the low tide reveals intertidal marine life.
This is a not-for-profit 1km guided NATURE WALK led by Nandini Dubey- a Naturalist and engaging storyteller
Date and Timings: Sunday 9th November, 7.15 am to 9.15 am
Age group: This is a child & pet-friendly walk
Meeting point: 7.15 am sharp outside Vikram Apartments, Janki Kutir, Juhu. Please walk or use public transport. There is strictly no parking inside Janki Kutir
Route: The 600m walk begins with exploring varieties of native trees in Janki Kutir, moves to exploring intertidal marine life on the beach and turns into Birla Lane for some historical trivia. The walk ends with some unwinding and breakfast at Anand Cafe (please note that breakfast is optional and not included in the ticket).
What to bring
- Beach-appropriate walking shoes
- Comfortable clothing
- A water bottle
- Sun protection (hat/ sunglasses/ sunscreen)
Included in the ticket: 7.15 am to 9.15 am - a 2-hour guided walk
Optional and NOT included in the ticket: At the end of the walk, exchange notes and observations over breakfast at Anand Café.
