The Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon (SIM-25) is a tribute to Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the only Indian Air Force officer to be awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest wartime gallantry award, for his unmatched courage during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
