GEMS 2: SURVIVING DARKNESS

CHALLENGE 1

• It is an artificial caving activity carried out inside massive cubes that form a simulated cave maze.
• The intricately designed cave-like maze is filled with obstacles such as tight crawlspaces and confusing junctions that make it more challenging.
• Participants have to also navigate their way through the dark from beginning to end. (Believe us when we say it is total darkness inside the cube. You literally can’t see anything! A terrifying and thrilling experience all at the same time.)

• Challenge Cubes is a new and alternative activity to hone the ability to work as a team. It is not your typical team-building exercise. So, expect the unexpected. The activity happens within massive cubes that form a simulated cave maze.
• It is an effective team-bonding challenge as communication and trust among team members are key to overcoming the obstacles. Leadership and decision-making skills are also put to the test as everyone will get a chance to call the shots.
• The simulated cave-like maze presents an entirely new take on what we might consider a ‘learning journey’. The exterior conceals the rich potential of learning and discovery within.
• The Challenge Cubes is well-equipped and safe as CCTVs are installed in each cube to monitor the participants’ progress.

Within the unsuspecting walls of the clubhouse, a battle unlike any is taking place. Light beams are firing, another man is felled, adrenaline is pumping. HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok houses an indoor multi-shooting arena exclusively for its LaserQuest operations. To the battle-hungry and those looking to sharpen their primal senses, what’s stopping you?

LaserQuest, Indoor Laser Tag

LaserQuest is an indoor game taking place within an enclosed, controlled environment. The game arms each player with infrared-firing weapons and a vest that detects and registers any incoming beams, a concept referred to as laser tag game. Gameplay comes in the form of various missions, where players essentially have to eliminate those from the opposing side by tagging them. Coordination is a necessity to win in indoor laser tag. Ultimately, the end goal of indoor laser tag is to build camaraderie through laser tag team building.
