3 Day Hornbill Festival 2018 Trip

Hornbill Festival, one of the most famous festivals of Nagaland is celebrated by the locals with a lot of zeal. The festival is named after Hornbill, a bird species in the state whose importance is reflected in their tribal music, dance and culture. One of the largest celebrations here, this is also a great opportunity to discover this lesser explored region of the country and learn about its indigenous tribes. Bringing together all of the diverse tribes of Nagaland, this isn’t called the ‘Festival of Festivals’ for nothing.
