The Mass Event is being organized with the Govt of India's Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan & the Int'l yoga day 2026

This year is 24th Edition of "Run against Drug Abuse” & Yogathon will be organized at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat.

10 km Challenge Run (Timing Chip Races)

Reg. Fee:- ₹1000/- each

1. Open Category (18 to30 yrs) M& F

2. Master's age categories - M& F

(i) 30+ (31 to 40 years)

(ii) 40+ (41 to 50 years)

(iii) 50+ (51 to 60 years)

(iv) 60+ (61 years above)

5 km Beat the Heat (Timing Chip Races) School & Open Category

Reg. Fee:- ₹800/- each

1. School category (10 to 17 yrs) Boys & Girls

2. Open Category (18 & above) M& F

Top 3 prizes in all categories (10 km & 5km)

5 Trophies for the top Club Championship Award (Running team Support) With Medal & e time certificate to all

1 km *Mass Run against Drug Abuse for all the participants ( Open Fun Run) &

5:30 AM: Reporting Time.

5.45: Assembly of Runners.

6:00am - Flag off 10 km Challenge Run

6:10 am - 5 km “Beat the Heat”

6:30 am :Thematic Poster Competition for school children.

7:00 am: Welcome the chief Guest & dignitaries

Pledge by the Minister with all the participants

7:10 am - Artistic Yoga shows with Suryanamaskar by all the participants)

7:30 am :- Flag off - 1 km Mass Run against drug abuse, Flags & placard Slogan March with the para Military Band with all the participants.

7:45 am -Awards & Prize Ceremony

8:00 am - Refreshment

About the Event background

The initiative was taken in 2003 by Health Fitness Trust Director Dr Sunita Godara ( Asian Marathon Champion) in collaboration with Directorate of Prohibition.Govt of Delhi & carried on all along with the main stakeholders in this field. NISD, Ministry of MSJE GOI, Narcotics Control Bureau, Govt of India. 

Many PSUs Navratna Oil Companies & Power companies have been supporting the cause. The prominent ones are ONGC, NTPC, GAIL, Indian Oil, HPCL & many more.
