Kedarkantha Trek

Trekking in beautiful mountains surrounded by pine trees covered with snow is a fantasy for some people and kedarkantha trek is a must trek for them. Located in Uttarakhand, it is considered as a moderate trek for trekkers with a height of 12,500ft. Starting from the Sankri village the trail can be more challenging than other moderate treks. There are 13 visible peaks from the kedarkantha top including Mt. Swargarohini, Bandarpunch, Gangotri Range, Rupin-Supin Ranges, and many others.

Day 1 :Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Sankri | 200KM | Overnight Stay

Assemble at Dehradun at 8:00 AM for the drive to Sankri village. Reach Sankri, explore the village and culture of the area. You will also be provided with the cultural food which is extremely tasty and healthy.

Day 2 :Day 2: Trek to Juda ka Talaab| Overnight Stay in Camps

Have Breakfast and warm-up for the trek. Post breakfast we will start our trek to Juda ka Talaab. After reaching enjoy the view and atmosphere of the place and chill with everyone. Have dinner and sleep.

Day 3 :Day 3: 8:00 am | Trek to kedarkantha base camp

Wake up at 6 am enjoy the sunrise in the mountains and after having breakfast we will start our trek to kedarkantha base camp which is 4 km from juda ka talaab. Reach there by noon and explore the place after having lunch. We will sleep by 6 pm because the next day we have to wake up at 3 am and start the trek at 4 am.

Day 4 :Day 4: 3am | Trek to Kedarkantha top

We will wake up at 3 am and after breakfast starts our trek by 4 am to kedarkantha top which is 6km from kedarkantha base. Witness the sunrise and after reaching at the top enjoy the stunning views all around you and famous peak Mt. Swargarohini, Bandarpunch, Gangotri Range, Rupin-Supin Ranges, and many others visible from there. After spending some time at the top we will start our trek downwards back to Kedarkantha base and spend the night there.

Day 5 :Day 5: 6am | Trek back to Sankri

wake up at 6 am and start our trek back to Sankri via Hargaon village. After reaching sankri we will have lunch and start our journey back to Delhi.
