ZYAKUNI IN MY BACKYARD

Zyakuni in My Backyard is the Brainchild of Frontwomen, Shraddha Singh and Anushka Datta. ZIMB

started off as a teenage dream and over the course of several years the band has strengthened itself and

reached new heights everyday. The band is in the final stages of creating it’s Debut 5-Track EP and

patiently awaiting the time for release. The Band of primarily plays pop and has a particular soft spot for

2000s pop.

The Lead Vocalist for the band, Shraddha Singh is a singer with a Trinity Grade 8 Distinction. She is

trained in Musical Theater under the Caux Artists Program in Switzerland. She has also appeared in

Queen of Rock, a Musical directed by Ritu Chandra, dedicated to the British Rock Band, Queen.

On Rhythm Guitars and Vocals, Anushka Datta is a former President of Euphony, Western Music Society

of Gargi College, Delhi University. Under her Leadership, the Society has made waves and achieved 3rd

place for the Academic year of 2019-20 in the A Capella circuit.

Noel Sakhi on Keyboards, is a literature student at St. Stephens College, Delhi. Noel is a musician training

under the tutelage of Miss Aching Shaiza at Theme Music Institute, Delhi. He has completed Grade 8

Vocals and Grade 8 Piano (Trinity Guildhall) and is pursuing his Diploma in the same.

Aman started playing drums for fun at 8 and professionally at 16. He’s been associated with more than

20 acts as a session drummer in and around delhi for acts like Bandish, The Music Journal, Asavari, Uday

Manhas , Meet Bros, Nandini Sharma , Aryan, Agastya and many more commercial and indie artists. He’s

been playing for ZIMB since it was formed.

Rahul, on Lead Guitar, is a Geology student at Ram Lal Anand College. He is the newest addition to the

band and He is a self-taught guitarist who is now a budding independent guitar teacher.

On Bass, Aradhya is a bass player from Delhi, currently studying in Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

He is playing Bass for Zyakuni in My Backyard and the Hindi Rock Band, Moongphali. He has also played

for projects and artists such as, Yatin Srivastava Project, Nalin Vinayak and Manikaant Suryan to name a

few.
