Y-Point Orchestra Performance
Event Information
The Y-Point Orchestra is having its next performance in Pune on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Devang Mehta Auditorium, Bhageerath, Persistent Systems, Senapati Bapat Road from 6 pm. Snacks & Tea will be served from 5.30pm.
The YPO has been going from strength to strength. They have had 4 shows in Pune & also performed in Delhi & Goa in 2015.
This will be in support of the GREAT Foundation (GF) & the Persistent Foundation. GF is an NGO started by Viney Kirpal a long time teacher at IITB. GREAT Foundation has aimed at providing quality education to the children of low-income families attending government schools.
They are currently focusing on Project Udaan to help poor children in 9th standard clear competitive exams like the JEE by strengthening their core concepts in Science, Math, and English.So get ready to enjoy your favorite Old Hindi Songs rendered by some amazingly talented IIT Alumni on the saxophone, accordion, keyboard, guitar etc., accompanying our very own Kishor Kumars, Rafis, Latas and Ashas. The main performance will last for about two hours.
IIT Alumni are welcome to invite their families and friends to join the fun evening.The cost for the show is Rs. 250 per head.
