What the future holds for: GENERATIVE AI

The first panelist, Binny Gill, is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, computer science expert, and student of the human brain. He completed his B.Tech in computer science from IIT Kanpur in 1995 and is the founder and CEO of Kognitos Inc, which he established in 2021 with the vision of enabling more people to instruct computers in natural language while ensuring complete auditability and explainability. Before Kognitos, Binny served as the CTO and Chief Architect at Nutanix, Inc., where he led the product portfolio and grew the team from 20 to 6,000 employees, achieving a market cap of $7 billion and $1.5 billion in revenue. With nearly 100 patents to his name, Binny holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The second panelist, Kundan Kumar, completed his B.Tech in computer science from IIT Kanpur in 2012. He co-founded lyrebird.ai, which pioneered voice cloning technology and created a platform for users to create their vocal avatars. More than 300,000 users created their vocal avatar on the platform, and in July 2019, lyrebird.ai was acquired by Descript, which recently received $50 million in funding from Open AI.

The third panelist, Ravi Srivastava, completed his B.Tech in mechanical engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2000 and is currently a partner at Leo Capital. He is passionate about using technological innovation as a means of promoting inclusive human progress. Previously, he founded Purvi Capital and co-founded Jump's first black-box trading group, kickstarting their HFT practice. Ravi has a portfolio of over two dozen startups and has led pre-seed rounds for companies such as Tala, Docquity, Sunstone, and Knowlarity. Ravi is particularly interested in AI, Web3, Fintech, and interdisciplinary solution sets at the intersection of life sciences and engineering.
