Event Information

Kothaligad is a small funnel fort near Karjat (Maharashtra). Unlike other funnel hill forts, this pinnacle or the funnel is carved from the inside, forming a circular staircase that reaches the top. The superlative view from the top of the pinnacle combined with this unique and awe-inspiring engineering feat definitely deserves a visit.

During monsoon this trek is accompanied with numerous waterfall along the way, which makes it more thrilling and adventurous.

Itinerary

06:10 Karjat Train from Cst ( Take the same train from your nearest Railways Station)

08:05 Reach Karjat Station and meet our group to Travel towards Ambivali Village in our private vehicle

8:50 Reach Ambivali and have breakfast

09:30 Start Trekking towards pinnacle with scenic view of numerous waterfalls and Reverse waterfall along the way

12:30 Reach the Pinnacle and have a little break, enjoy the mesmerizing view of the Nature surrounding the fort. Visit ancient Temple, See beautiful carvings and a Canon located at the edges of Fort

13:30 Descend towards Ambivali Village

14:30 Have a heavy Lunch after a trek full of adventures and achievements.

15:30 Journey Back to Karjat Station taking a lot of Memories with you.
