We're proud to announce a brand-new kind of competition: An online-only WESTERN TYPE DANCE competition!!!
Now is the time to join the Vgosh Virtual Dance Competition and perform against dancers to win cash prizes and awards!
How it operates:
- Dancers, teachers, or parents can submit a dance video private YouTube link (in-studio, on stage, or living room).
- Once the payment is done, send us the purchased ticket screenshot and dance video YouTube private link along with dancer's age proof to our mail.

- Judges will then review and rate the submission online. You'll get informative, in-depth critiques, the opportunity to start and stop additional feedback.
- You will get the scores and critiques after all of the entrants in the event have been submitted and the event has been officially closed.
- The final awards will be revealed on our website.
- The Top 5 Challenge will be streamed online on our website, with the top five entrants of each age category competing for cash prizes!
Age Category:
- Junior: 9 – 15
- Senior: 16 & above
Group Size:
- Solo – 1 dancer
- Group – 2 & above
General Advice:
- All dancers will compete at the same level.
- Dancers will be segregated only by Junior and Senior.
- To be judged accurately and fairly, entries must be displayed in the correct style genre.
- Each routine can involve no more than three acrobatic tricks.
- The judges' results are FINAL.
- There are no refunds on any entries.
- You cannot change your video link once you have submitted it for competition registration.
Solo Competition Rules:
- Solos must be entered in the appropriate category based on their age at the time of the event registration deadline.
- Solo entries are limited to three minutes in length.
- The Top 5 Challenge will feature the top-scoring groups from each age division.
Group Competition Rules:
- The length of the performance must not exceed 3 - 5 minutes.
- Groups must have been filmed in a studio or on stage previously (Videos from competitions are accepted).
- 1st place will be announced as per age category during the website overall announcements.
- Each studio will be allowed to participate in The Top 5 Challenge with a maximum of two group dances as per age category.
- The Top 5 Challenge will feature the top-scoring groups from each age category.
Video Qualifications:
- Videos must be posted through an email connection that includes studio information and age proof of the participant.
- Videos should be above 720p resolution. The video must be recorded in the landscape.
- Videos may be filmed in your home or outside, as long as the environment and surface are safe for the dancer.
- Videos performed in hazardous conditions or on hazardous surfaces would not be considered.
- The location of the shooting or the content of the video will not be judged or considered in the final score.
- Any performance video must be shot in a single take. There will be no mid-performance video cuts or edits allowed. This regulation is strictly applied, and if you break it, you will be disqualified from the competition.
Awards:
- Special award certificates will be emailed in PDF format with a social media graphic.
- All participants getting participation E-Certification through Email.
- Dancers can collect critiques and score charts via email within 7-10 business days after the competition closes and before the overall website high-score announcements.
- We do not live stream all entries in each event. Just the routines which make the Top 5 Challenge will be streamed online.
- When the competition registration is closed, the total amount of cash prizes will be decided.
- Once the event is officially over, we will post the highest overall scores on our website.
- The video and/or photo of the high-score winners will be published on our social media and website.
- Cash prizes will only be awarded to dancers who place 1st in each overall age division during The Top 5 Challenge live-stream event.
- Winners of cash prizes will be paid via GPay after the event.
