*Vasota Fort Jungle Trek:*

Vasota Fort (also called Vyaghragad) is located in Satara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Shivaji Maharaj named the fort “Vyaghragad” (Vyaghra – means tiger), owing to its difficult natural defense. After Shivaji Maharaj, the brave Maratha Bajirao Peshwa carried on the Swarajya mission of ousting the Mughal invaders from our country. In 1818 however, British bombarded the fort with heavy artillery thereby destroying many buildings. It is said that this fort was built by Kolhapur Shilahara Raja Bhoj II (1178–1193). It was captured by Shivaji Maharaj in 1660. Vasota is the most popular Jungle trek in Maharashtra. Located deep within the Koyna Wild Life sanctuary, the only to reach the base of Vasota is by a boat from Tapola or Bamnoli. *Detailed Itinerary:*

• 02:00 pm: Come to Swargate. Give attendance to the Team Travelsburg. Each Participant shall go through Temperature Checking & Sanitization Process. Mask is Must for entire Journey Period.
• 02:15 pm: Depart for Vasota jungle Trek
• 02:30 pm: Pickup Point: Sinhgad road
• 02.45 pm: Pickup Point: Navle bridge
• 06.30 pm: Reach Bamnoli and Check in at hotel and Fresh up
• 07.00 pm: Tea and introduction session & relax.
• 09.00 pm: Dinner
• 10.00 pm: Camp Fire and fun games.
• 11.00 pm: Sleeping Time

• 7.00 am: Wakeup call by Travelsburg. Fresh up immediately. Keep your Bedding in a bus.
• 07.45 am: Tea & Breakfast. After breakfast 1 Hour is required for completing the Legal Procedures to enter the Vasota.
• 9.00 pm: Start a Memorable Backwater Journey towards Vasota by Boat.
• 10.30 pm: Reach Base of Vasota “Met-Indawali”. Briefing, Do’s & Don’ts by Team Travelsburg.
• 10.45 pm: Start a Trek towards Vasota. Beautiful climb in the Vicinity of Nature.
• 12.45 pm: Reach the Top. Explore Vasota.
• 01.30 pm: Start Descending the Vasota Fort.
• 3.00 pm: Lunch at Base of Vasota in Open Jungle.
• Please Carry Steel Plate, Bowl, Spoon, etc. Disposable Plates not allowed.
• 4.00 pm: Return journey towards Bamnoli by Boat.
• 5.30 pm: Reach Bamnoli. Evening Tea & Snacks.
• 6.30 pm: Depart for Pune with Happy memories.
• 11.30 pm: Reach Pune at swargate.

•  At the starting point we will check the Oxygen Level & Temperature of each Participant.
•  Do co-operate with us for all safety procedure to stay safe.
•  Avoid Contact with Local Villagers.
•  Maintain minimum 6 feet distance while Trekking.

•  Put clothes, money, camera, phone, etc. in polythene bags while packing.
•  Wear shoes with a good grip.
•  Use insect repellents to keep bugs away.
•  Make note of nearest railway station, bus stop, taxi stand, etc.
•  Do not stray away from your group during the trek.
