Triund Trek - McLeod Ganj - Himachal :
Triund is a ridge situated at an elevation of 2875 mt in the lap of Dhauladhar mountain range. It is very famous tourist spot in the western Himalayan range. To reach to this point one has to walk for 08 km from Mcleod Ganj town. Triund is also the gateway to reach and cross the beautiful and tough mountain pass called Indrahara Pass. Triund and above there are many big grasslands where one can see many shepherd grazing there herd of sheep and goats. From Triund one can hike upto Kunal Pathri temple as well which is located at an elevation of 3200 mt. To come back to Mcleodganj either walk back by same way or can take the different route which is steep downhill.
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: We meet directly at Delhi as per bus departure timing at ISBT bus stop. From here, we board a direct Volvo bus to McLeod Ganj saying goodbye to our city lives.
Day 2: We reach McLeod Ganj early in the morning. Our home-stay is located in mcleodganj, a picturesque location which is just a 10 min cab ride away from us with spectacular views of the entire valley. After breakfast at McLeod Ganj, we head to H. H. Dalai Lama Temple, Namgyal Monastery, and the Tibet Museum. We will also visit the St. Johns in the Wilderness Church and then sample some local cuisine for dinner.
Day 3: Today is The big day! We'll trek to Triund, one of the highest snow-capped peaks of the Dhauladhar mountain range. After an early breakfast, we'll head to Galudev Temple. We'll make our way to Triund, which is 2,850 meters (9,350 ft) above sea level. It is a day-long hike but the serene mountainous landscape, rare wildlife and a trail dotted with magical little cafés with breathtaking views will keep you going. At night well camp in tents facing the majestic snow-clad mountain range
Day 4: After experiencing an unforgettable sunrise, we’ll have breakfast and trek right up to the snow line. Small icy streams and glacial waterfalls are a common sight on this trail. After Lunch we say goodbye to Triund and start our descent, reaching our hotel in mcleodganj by Evening.
Day 5: Spend the morning exploring Bhagsunag waterfall or gorging on some Bhagsu cake. Late afternoon we meet and make our way towards Sunset cafe. Trust us, there's no better place to witness a sunset in this valley from. The evening can be spent shopping or wandering around the lanes of the McLeod market.
Day 6: After breakfast check out from homestay we'll make our final shopping calls at McLeod Ganj. Post lunch we head to Delhi by a HRTC bus.
Day 7: We'll reach Majnu Ka Tila bus stop early morning. Trip ends. Say goodbye to the hills and hello to nostalgia for the next few months.

-Rooms will be on a double OR triple sharing basis with washrooms attached
-The home-stays will have running hot water facility
-These are home-stays and not hotels. There will be no room service

-We will provide 1 meal a day

Transport:
-We will be traveling from Delhi to Mcleodganj and back in hrtc buses
-We will transit within Mcleodganj by taxis (Naddi only) and Walk

-In Delhi, we will meet at Majnu Ka Tila by 5pm. We will assemble near the Gurudwara. Please do not be late.
-On your return journey from Delhi, please book your train or flights post 1 pm (to be on the safer side in case of any delays)
-Despite this being a backpacking trip, we will be running on a fixed schedule. Punctuality will be appreciated.
-This is not a leisurely trip. Please be prepared for a good amount of walking up and down hills and hilly terrain.
-Carrying rain wear is very important if the trip is between June-Sept. Take all necessary precautions to keep yourself and your belongings dry.
-While we're moving in groups to various places, try and stick to the group and not wander off.
-The trip schedule is subject to change. Day of visits to the mentioned places could be shifted back and forth.
-While booking your transport to Delhi, please try and book refundable tickets wherever possible (especially flights)

The participants who wish to reach the event starting point in their own vehicle have to reach the meeting point at given time, beyond the said time and spot the organizer may go out of network range and won’t be able to assist. In such situation the organizer shall not be liable for any inconvenience what-so-ever and the participants will be considered as dropouts against which no refund will be made. The organizer reserves the right to make necessary change in itinerary at any time before or during the event based on situation at hand. Trek leaders decision will be final and binding, no arguments will be entertained. During the event if any participant or group does not follow safety instructions and indulges in acts that lead to physical harm, or gets lost in the forest / mountain the organizers will not be held liable for it. We do not allow anyone to campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of emergency, and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent along the ticket confirmation email. Submitting incomplete/incorrect/fake details in the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. No refund will be made in case a person misses the train/bus mentioned in the itinerary. All participants are deemed to be physically fit for the event. In case a participant decides to dropout during the event he/she has to bear the extra cost of arranging his/her return, this cost will be charged at-actual-basis. If the event gets cancelled before commencement due to natural calamities, rains, landslide, snowfall, avalanche or any external influencers, only 50% refund will be made. Once the event has started and if it get cancelled due to bad natural conditions during the course of event no refund will be made. Stay options mentioned in the itinerary are subject to natural conditions i.e. tents can’t be pitched if rains and/or rain storm is being predicted. In such cases an attempt will be made to provide shelter for the night. Food during the trekking and camping events is sourced locally from villages and we put in our best efforts to provide the best, participants should acknowledge the fact that remote village people are not trained for catering services and the expectations should be accommodating. Trekking and Camping belong to adventure sports industry where the participants are part of a "team" here there are no waiters, caterers, guests, clients.
