ITINERARY:

Day 01: Mumbai / Delhi – Leh (by flight)

Depart Mumbai / Delhi to Leh by flight. On arrival at Leh KBR Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative and will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the day in the hotel for rest and acclimatization. Evening enjoys a village walk and enjoys some refreshments at a river bank. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast, proceed sightseeing on the Leh – Srinagar Highway. Visit the Hall of Fame – This is a museum maintained by the Indian Army showcasing their strength during the different wars fought, Kali Mata Temple & Gurudwara Patthar Sahib – supposed to be built to mark the visit of Guru Nanak Dev to this area. Proceed further and experience the effects of Magnetic Hill which is set to defy the law of gravity and admire the confluence of holy Indus & Zanskar. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Leh – Nubra Valley (125 km / 5hrs)

Morning drive to Nubra Valley 125km crossing Khardongla Pass 18360 ft, the world’s highest motorable pass. Afternoon visit Diskit & Hunder Monasteries and the white sand dunes with perhaps a Camel Safari on the double-humped camels which are found only in Nubra as far as India is concerned. Dinner and overnight stay at the Deluxe Camp.

Day 04: Nubra Valley – Turtuk Village – Nubra Valley

Early morning get ready to explore TurTuk village. It is about 115 km from Nubra valley and can take approx 4 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just around 4000 and about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and people here speak the Baltistan language. Explore this beautiful village and also experience the local lifestyle here. One can go for a walk around the village and also meet the local people. Later come back to Nubra Valley. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 05: Nubra Valley To Pangong Lake via Shayok (160 kms / 7hrs)

This morning after breakfast check out from Camp and drive towards Pangong Lake via Shayok. En route visit some breathtaking views of the Ladakh valleys. Explore the beauty of the panoramic Lake and the magnificent mountain view and landscapes which will leave you awestruck. Dinner & Overnight stay at Pangong Camp.

Day 06: Pangong Lake To Leh (120 kms / 4hrs)

After breakfast, travel back to Leh, and en route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. On arrival check-in at the hotel and later visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace and Leh market for some souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel In Leh.

Day 07: Depart Leh – Mumbai / Delhi (by flight)

After breakfast transfer to Leh – KBR airport to board the flight for your home destination.
