KOTEBETTA TREK (COORG)

Kote Betta is the third highest peak in Coorg after Tadiyandamol and Brahmagiri.

KoteBetta means “Fort Hill” cause of its fort-like appearance.Its height above sea level is 1620 meters (5313 ft) It lies near the border between the Dakshina Kannada and Coorg districts. Beginning on an asphalted road, you gradually enter the thick forest which leads to the Summit. Enroute, visit the Shiva temple.

Reach Kotebetta peak. Unwind for bit and witness the mesmerizing sunset. Start descending from the peak

Also Visit Mallalli Falls and Honnamana kere – Lake Is said to be biggest lake in Coorg. A temple is built adjacent to the lake and is built for Goddess Honnamma who sacrificed her life for the welfare of the people. Honnamana kere is surrounded by beautiful mountains, Cliffs and coffee Plantations and 2 Hills, Gavi betta and Mori betta. One can find man built caves which are believed to be built by Pandavas.

Day 0: Leave Bangalore by 10:15 Pm

Day 1:

Reach Home stay, Freshen up

-Jeep Ride to the Start of the Trek

-Reach Shiva Temple on top.

-Kotebetta Peak

-Descend and off road Jeep Ride

-Lunch & Relax

-Visit to Mallalli Falls

-Dinner and Camp fire

Day 2:

- Visit to Honnammana kere and small trek to caves

- Visit to front side of Kotebetta

Start to Bangalore

* All participants must follow the operators instructors and must not stray away from the group KIDS CAN JOIN ABOVE 8 years

Refund policy:

No refund on cancellations happening 2 days before or the day the trip starts

50% refund for those who cancel their bookings 3 days before the trip commences
