Kataldhar is the name of a big waterfall near Lonavala in Pune district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. This waterfall is not so famous because to reach to the valley is some what difficult and need some experience of basic trekking before exploring this place. Water is not available there for the whole year, but a good amount of water falls during the monsoon season. Though it is difficult to reach to the valley there is a heaven at the end of the fall.
In Monsoon Lonavala becomes the Hot Destination for all the Trekkers, But Apart from the routine places “Kataldhar Waterfall Trek ” gives us theimmense pleasure of Trekking. “Katal” means a Rock & “Dhar” means a Waterfall. Now Imagine you are Rappelling from the top of waterfall. After Reaching the Base of Valley you will be surprised by the Gigantic waterfalls of Kataldhar. Enjoy the Waterfall.

PARTICIPANTS FROM MUMBAI HAVE TO REPORT DIRECTLY AT LONAVALA STATION @ 8:00 AM 

*Itinerary:*
5:50 am - Reporting at Pune Railway station SHARP. 
8:00 am -Reach Lonavala. Have breakfast and start the trek. 
12:00 pm -Reach Waterfall. 
1:30 pm -Have lunch and start return trek. 
Reach home by 7-8pm 

*Things to Bring:*
• Lunch 
• Try wearing full sleeves and full track pants. 
• Identity Proof
• Small Sack for 1 Day trek with waterproof sack cover
• Water Bottle – (~ 3 Ltrs)
• Good Sports Shoes (Must)
• Swiss Knife
• Paper Soap
• Cap / Hat
• Torch (With Extra batteries)
• Chappal/ floaters
• Extra Pair of Clothes with Towel & socks pair
• Waist Pouch
• Camera (optional)
• Personal basic medical kit ( carry your routine medicines if any to avoid complications)
• Windcheater / light weight Rain Jacket
• A haversack to put all these things.
• Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits,
• Carry at least 2 Lemons, Chocolate Bars, Glucon D.
• No wearing of Gold or any other expensive Ornaments ( if Lost owns a sole Responsibility)
• Polythene Bags (Participants are requested to carry their own waste back to home or to Dispose in the Dustbins

It would be participants own responsibility for the same, no interference of the parents, guardians of participants will be entertained. Awara Rahi has full rights to change or alter the activity considering the safety of participants & experts & also subject to the natural conditions at the time of the event. If any participant wants to leave the event prior to its committed time, declaration for the same should be provided to Awara Rahi Leaders present at the event. Participants should follow the timely instructions given by the Leaders & Experts during the event. Safety measure is to be followed on strict basis anybody not following will be discarded on the spot. 
Adventure Activities are Organized considering the favorable conditions of Nature and Atmosphere.. Where Safety comes first.. If in case there is a natural Calamity and if event is Cancelled NO REFUND will be provided in such Circumstances. Leaders Decision will be Final. So no Arguments will be entertained.
