"Chavand is a hill fort located at around 30kms from Narayangaon in the Junnar region of Maharashtra. Difficulty level for trekking is moderate and it takes just an hour to get to the top of the fort. Ideal for a one day trek or even for an overnight trek.
The surrounding region of this fort is just awesome and you will get to see flora and fauna at its best."

05.30am Leave from Pune, Fergusson college main gate.
08.00am have breakfast on the way.
09.30am Reach to base village.
10.00am After introduction and briefing, start trek.
11.30am Reach to the top of fort, Explore
01.00pm Start descend
02.30 pm Reach to base village, have lunch
04.00pm Visit to Shivneri fort, Birth Place of Shivaji Maharaj.
05.00pm Start return journey towards Pune
06.00pm Have tea on the way
09.00pm Reach back to Pune with sweet memories of trek
