The Concept

Tree Tops is the first camp for your child. It is a fun camp with the limited objective of providing an experience of staying away from home. Besides being independent, the children learn to mix with others and share things. The camp is full of activities / games and ensures that there is never a dull moment. The camp helpers are trained to look after the kids and do a commendable job. Accommodation is on room sharing in a large Dormitory.

Day 1

Pune: Report at 0715 hrs sharp at Congress Bhavan near Pune Municipal Corporation. The bus departs at 0730 hrs. Arrive at the Mulshi camp for Breakfast. Mumbai: Report at 0615 hrs sharp at Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya, Dadar (E). The bus departs at 0630 hrs. Arrive at the Mulshi camp for Breakfast. Briefing, introductions and room allotment. Enjoy Swimming pool, games and activities.

Day 2

Early morning go for Nature trail and trek. Know your mountains, valleys, rocks and rivers. After breakfast, group competitions – Running, climbing, crawling, balancing. Craft/painting in the afternoon. Games in the evening. Sky watch / Farewell party at night.

Day 3

Treasure hunt, certification and farewell. Return to Congress Bhavan between 1730 to 1800 hrs. / Return to Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya between 2000 to 2030 hrs.

The cost includes

The cost does not include

 Personal expenses such as telephones, cold drinks / ice creams, mineral water, porter charges  Medical, hospitalization and related expenses

Camp Kit

o 1 water bottle, 1 Cap/Hat, 1 small backpack for trails
o 3 Sets of clothing: shirts/ t-shirts & trousers / shorts

o 1 set of night clothes, towel and a shawl.

o 1 light sweater or jerkin and a scarf.

o Small Torch with fresh cells, Odomos tube o Personal Toiletries-Soap, Toothpaste, Toothbrush etc.

o 1 Pair of walking Shoes & Slippers/Floaters o Notebook, pen, pencil, Crayons, Water colours, 2 old newspapers, plastic scissor

o Polythene bags to dump wet / used clothes

Note

1. Telephone calls or personal visits can greatly upset children. Hence we request parents not to insist on this.

2. If any medicines are to be administered to the children during the camp, please hand over neatly packed medicines along with written instructions to the Camp Incharge only.

3. The children are not required to spend on the camp, do not give cash to them.

4. No junk food, aerated/energy drinks please. Such items will be taken away on arrival at the camp.

6. In case of illness, the camp leader will contact the parents and arrange for treatment or transfer to home. The parents will reimburse the expenses so incurred.
