ABUJHMAD MAHOTSAV - THIRD INTERNATIONAL MAD MARATHON 2021 will be held on 27 February 2021 at DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS, NARAYANPUR - CHHATTISGARH (INDIA), this marathon is aimed at establishing peace in ABUJHMAD. In this year 21 km (Half Marathon) is being organized from HIGH SCHOOL GROUND, NARAYANPUR TO BASING. The ABUJHMAD is dotted with natural beauty, forests, waterfalls and giant mountain ranges.
It is worth mentioning that this marathon is the only and big international marathon of BASTAR which is proving to be successful in bringing ABUJHMAD and BASTAR to fame globally. The victorious contestants will be rewarded by the Honorable Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. In this marathon, separate 05 Rewards for both men and women have been kept at Rs 1 lac 21 thousand, 61 thousand rupees, 31 thousand rupees, 21 thousand rupees and 11 thousand rupees respectively. Free food and lodging arrangements are being made available by the District Administration and Police Administration, Narayanpur for the runners / participants in the marathon.
It is worth mentioning that this marathon is the largest marathon in Bastar organized by the district administration, police administration and local administration in collaboration with social organizations, registered / non-registered committees, journalists, business institutions and dignitaries which is completed every last 03 years. It is being held in Narayanpur with enthusiasm, In the past years, every year more than 5 thousand people have participated in this marathon and have contributed significantly to make the event successful, including the runners from abroad.
