Walk with us to explore the unexplored story of love of Swiss Born architect Pierre Jeanneret, who played an instrumental role in the architectural development of Chandigarh. A cousin of Le Corbusier, Jeanneret was instrumental in the design and development of the capital city of Chandigarh.

He remained in Chandigarh from February 1951 to August 1965, and designed most shopping centres, Gandhi Bhawan, Punjab University, and other significant buildings. He also supervised the implementation of Le Corbusier's designs of the Capitol Complex, Museum and Art Gallery, and others.

Such was Jeanneret's love for the city that as per his 'will' his ashes were immersed in the Sukhna Lake of Chandigarh after he died in 1967. We explore his classic masterpieces, as we walk through his self designed house, now converted into a museum.
