A talk by the test flight engineer Wg Cdr (Retd) P K Raveendran, SC who has served in Indian Air Force from 1970 - 1995.

Recipient of the National Gallantry Award, ‘Shaurya Chakra’.
Also was the Group Director (Flight Test) – LCA (Tejas) Programme.
Was a Member of Society of Flight Test Engineers (USA).
Life Member of the Aeronautical Society of India
Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (India)
Professional life Member of Indian Society for Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (ISAMPE)

Also holds a Commercial Pilot licence with over 1500 hrs of total flying experience (As Flt Engr, Flt Test Engr and Pilot).

Designed and Developed GPS based Radiosonde for upper air data measurement for flight test application which won Excellence Award from the Aeronautical Society of India.
