Embark on a magical night in nature with the Fireflies Festival Trek through the enchanting Andharban Forest and Kundalika Valley View Point. Organized by Adventure Club Pune, this overnight trip promises a surreal experience as hundreds of fireflies light up the forest in their pre-monsoon mating ritual. The journey begins from Pune, with private non-AC transportation arranged based on group size—from 7-8 seater SUVs like Tavera, Scorpio, or Ertiga to 17-32 seater Travellers or buses. Pickups are scheduled from multiple locations including Novotel Hotel (Viman Nagar), JM Corner (Shivajinagar), Bremen Chowk (Aundh), and near Wakad Bridge, starting at 9:00 PM.
Upon reaching Pimpri village around 12:30 AM, participants will head for a 2–3-hour guided trail into the forest to witness the breathtaking glow of fireflies amidst the darkness. After this surreal experience, rest in a common shelter until morning. Day two begins with a wake-up call at 6:00 AM, followed by a visit to the scenic Kundalika Valley View Point, offering panoramic views of the lush Western Ghats. A local breakfast and tea will be served before heading back to Pune by 9:00 AM, wrapping up this short but memorable journey.
As this trek passes through dense forest areas and monsoon-prone zones, participants are expected to follow all safety norms—no alcohol or smoking, no littering, and no loud music. The visibility of fireflies is subject to natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed, and no refunds will be issued in case of non-sightings. The tour is designed to be both fun and educational, offering a safe and respectful way to explore the wonders of nature.
