It's the botanical name of 'Sonki', a small and beautiful flower which blossom in abundance on the hill of Ratangad.Let's join us to witness the nature's beauty in the valley of Ratangad and it's surroundings.

Ratangad is a fort in RatanWadi, Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra overlooking the locale of Bhandardara. The fort is about 400 years old and often covered with flowering plants especially Sonki. Ratangad is also called Jewels of the Forts. Join us to witness the magnificent plethora of Ratangad and it's surroundings !!

Places of attraction:

Ratangad has a natural rock peak with a cavity in it at the top which is called 'Nedhe' or 'Eye of the Needle'.The fort has four gates Ganesh, Hanuman, Konkan and Trimbak.

Amruteshwar Temple, famous for its carvings, dating back to the Hemadpant Era - roughly from the eighth century.

Bhandardara From the top of the fort neighbouring forts like Alang, Kulang, Madangad, Harishchandragad, Patta are seen easily. The view of entire Bhandardara dam (Lake Arthur) gives sheer pleasure.

09:05 am: Reach Pune

10:00 am: Freshen up & Start to base village by private jeep/Lunch enroute

04:00 pm: Reach base village

04:30 pm: Start trekking towards Ratangad

08.00 pm: Reach top & stay at caves

09:00 pm: Dinner

10:00 pm: Campfire/Play Games

12:00 pm: Retire for the day

Sunday

05:00 am: Wakeup call/ Freshen up

07:00 am: Explore nearby & start Descend

10:00 am: Reach at Base village/Freshen up

11:00 am: Start towards Pune

07:05 pm: Catch train to Hyderabad

Monday

07:00 am: Reach Hyderabad (Lingampally 06:40 am, Begampet 07:02 am, Secunderabad 08:00am)

 As a safety measure keep your near and dear ones informed about your travelling plans. Wear trekking shoes with good grips, use repellents to keep bugs away. Make note of nearest railway station, bus stop, taxi stand etc. Avoid wearing precious jewellery while trekking, TAH team wont be responsible for any losses for the same. Mobile connectivity may be unavailable in the area, as it is remotely located amidst dense jungle. Also, please be flexible and considerate since its not a leisure trip/picnic. Please liaise with the Trek Lead in case of any concerns.

 Cancellation Policy:

1. If cancelation done prior to 10 days of the trek/tour 75% of the total cost will be refunded.
2. If cancelation done prior to 5 days of the trek/tour 50% will be refunded.
3. If cancelation done after that, no refund will be provided.
