Khanak Joshi is a child prodigy in Indian classical and Sufi music. She was born in Shirdi (Maharashtra) on 18th May 2006. A student of 8th grade in Global City International School, Bangalore, Khanak has made a mark with her phenomenal voice in the music circle.

Khanak started learning Indian Classical (Hindustani) Vocal music when she was merely 3 years old from Pt.Vinod Kaushik, Shri R.P Singh ji & Vidushi Uma Garg (Dean of Music faculty Delhi University). Currently she is learning light Music from Pandit Harikishan Pahwa ji, Bangalore and Classical music from Ustad Ghulam Murtuza Khan Niyazi ji (Karachi). She is also learning Sufiana Singing from Ustad Tanveer Ahmed Khan Sahab (Delhi).

Khanak has won many awards in inter-school, city-level & national-level competitions. She was also awarded Uttrakhand Idol Award for her acting skills by ZEE BUSINESS. Khanak was invited by ALL India Radio Najibabad, Delhi & Cuttack where she was interviewed and her performance was recorded for Children Programmes. She was also invited by DELHI DOORDARSHAN for performing in a programme for children named SATRANGA BACHPAN. Khanak has performed for channels like News Nation, Disha TV, Aastha, IBN7, SUVARNA TV, Udaya TV and Jallandhar Doordarshan.

With all those feathers in her cap, Khanak was a winner of the World-wide Talent Hunt 2013 Contest organised by Shankar Mahadevan. She also performed with Shankar Mahadevan on 22nd March 2014 at Hotel Park Plaza, Bangalore. Khanak sings in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, English & Persian.

Mehdi Tebyanian was born in Iran in 1981. He entered the world of music with Dj-ing electronic music and experimented with psychedelic music for 10 years. In 2008 he went to an ancient Sufi zikr and heard the Tanbour sound for the first time.

Tanbour is one of the oldest ancient instrument that was played in Sufi zikr's gatherings and whirling dances. Mehdi fell in love with the Tanbour sound and Rumi's poetry. He left psychedelic music and turned to traditional and fusion tunes.

He has been playing, practicing and researching on Tanbour Since 2008. He has performed in many concerts in Iran and India. He is now excelling in Hindustani music and Dhrupad singing.
