Akhil is a pianist, composer and Music Educator from Meerut, a city in U.P India. Currently based in Delhi, he makes Neo- classical, instrumental music which is Piano and Strings heavy and though highly influenced by the likes of Frédéric Chopin ,Chilly Gonzales, Ludovico Einaudi , Patrick Watson and many such artists is still quite unique which can be heard in this upcoming album “Songs That I Play For My Friends"
He’s been learning, teaching and playing since the past twenty years of his life and wants to share his love for music with everyone and also revolutionise the instrumental music scene in India. He was a winner of “Create in India challenge ” and was awarded at the first “WAVES summit 2025” at JIO CENTRE mumbai and recently performed and was invited in IFFM (Indian film festival of Melbourne) and bestowed at “WAVES bazaar” in Melbourne by Ministry of information and broadcasting and Victoria state government. He performs his music solo or with a string Quartet which is a highly introspective and individualistic experience on its own.Being an intimate set, it is perfect for Depot 48 as it offers a better connection with the audience.
Brandon - Brandon Colaco is one of India’s most renowned didgeridoo players and crafters. He has represented the instrument on some of the country’s biggest national platforms and has also performed and conducted workshops in music festivals internationally."
