Meet Shriya, a 19-year-old artist from Mumbai with a genre-fluid sound that defies convention and leaves a lasting impression. Seamlessly blending R&B, soul, and pop, her music is as dynamic as it is heartfelt.
In 2024, Shriya signed with Sony Music India’s Day One Records, releasing breakout singles “Ride for Me” and “On My Mind” - two bold entries that showcased her versatility and songwriting prowess. Now, in 2026, she continues to build her independent career with fearless honesty and a voice that resonates across generations.
Her latest EP, In a Box, is a tender, deeply personal collection of ballads written between the ages of 16 and 19. Born out of heartbreak, transition, and self-discovery, the project captures the growing pains of young adulthood with raw vulnerability. The songs explore the emotional weight of expectation - both personal and artistic - while offering a soft landing for those navigating similar tides. Though anchored in the teenage experience, its themes of identity, healing, and resilience are universal.
Through her words and melodies, Shriya invites listeners into her world - creating space for connection, comfort, and catharsis. With over 50 performances at some of India's most iconic venues, including the Royal Opera House, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), High Spirits Café and more, she’s steadily crafting a space in music that’s intimate, inclusive, and entirely her own.
