Detailed Day Wise Itinerary


Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival at Airport, will meet and proceed Delhi Railway station. Delhi to Kalka (NETAJI EXP SPL) timing: 9:10 PM to 3:00 AM. From Kalka Railway Station transfer to Shimla by Toy train.


Day 02: Shimla

Upon arrival at Shimla – the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Transfer to Hotel, complete your check-in formalities and take some rest.

Later in the evening, visit Mall Road to explore the famous shopping market of Shimla. Here you will find wooden artefacts and woollens. Apart from colourful shops, there are a lot of cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques across the Ridge near Mall Road. The Ridge is a popular attraction in Shimla. It has everything from shopping to sightseeing.

Later head to the hotel for mouth-watering dinner. Relax and prepare for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Shimla to Kufri Expedition Day

After scrumptious breakfast, prepare for the day ahead. This day of your Chandigarh to Shimla tour package is dedicated to exploring Kufri and Fagu, the popular hill stations around Shimla. Kufri is 16 km. away from Shimla while Fagu is further 6 km. ahead of Kufri.

While on the way to Kufri, stopover at Green Valley, which is a beautiful natural dale in Himachal Pradesh. It offers stunning views of sky-scraping mountains, luxuriant hills, and dense deodar and pine forests. Do not forget to click pictures at this amazing spot.

 

Next proceed to Kufri, a popular sightseeing place around Shimla. It boasts of snow-capped landscapes and picturesque views of the surrounding areas. There are also various adrenaline-pumping adventure activities in Kufri like tobogganing, skiing, horse riding, yak riding, etc. You can also visit Kufri Fun World for more entertainment activities.

Later drive back to Shimla and enjoy dinner with the comfortable overnight stay.

 Day 4: Shimla to Manali

Today we proceed to Manali, en-route we drive past the Beas Sutlej Link Project, Pandoh Dam, and Scenic Kullu Valley. During our tea halt, we visit the Kullu Shawl factory. In the evening we arrive at Manali – a gorgeous hill station located in the heart of snowy mountains.

 Day 5: Manali to Rohtang Road Snow Point

Today a spectacular drive will take us to Rohtang Road Snow Point. We have free time to play in the snow and click pictures to our heart’s content.

Please Note: Rohtang pass is 51 kms away from Manali. This Pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a year, as it is covered by snow. We generally visit the snow point on Rohtang road, which has been permitted by the Border Security Force.

note: Snow clothes, jackets and gum boots are available on rent in the shops located on Rohtang Road, you can rent it at an additional cost if needed.

 Day 6: Manali to Solang Valley

Today proceed to Solang Valley – a splendid valley in Solang village offering magnificent views of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here we enjoy a Ropeway ride and admire the Himalayan mountains. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Biking, Trekking and Hiking at an additional cost. Later we visit Hidimba Mandir – set in amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, this temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi and Vashisht Kund – 4000 years old temple of Sage Vashista - sole Guru of Lord Ram and Laxman, located in a beautiful small village on east bank of Beas River. In the evening we have free time for shopping.

Day 7: Manali to Dharmshala

After breakfast Travel by surface from Manali to McLeod Ganj (Dharamsala). On arrival check in at hotel and overnight stay at hotel in dharmshala.

Day 8: Dharamshala Local Sightseeing – Dalhousie

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and start full day sightseeing first drive to Subash Bowli then to Khajjiar via Bakrota hills and Lakkarmandi reach Khajjiar full day excursion. After reaching at Dalhousie, check in to the hotel. Evening visit mall road overnight stay at hotel in Dalhousie.

Day 9: Dalhousie to Amritsar

Early morning After Breakfast check out from the hotel. Depart for Amritsar on arrival directly visit Wagah Border Parade (indo-pak parade) on arrival check in hotel dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Amritsar Sightseeing and Departure

Early morning After Breakfast check out from the hotel. and visit Golden Temple Jallianwala Bagh and depart to Amritsar Railway Station /Airport. Tour Ends with Sweet Memories.
