SeRaLi – Partha’s book club is being hosted in a face to face mode where we would love to meet and hear the patrons of SeRaLi and City Book Leaders join us on Saturday, 9th July at 6:00 PM IST at LH2, Annexe India International Centre at Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
Since this is a special session for us where we are breaking our norm of only online interaction, we thought we should have someone who is advocating a similar break the ceiling subject of Gender Equality and for the same we have noted entrepreneur and author, Anita Bhogle joining us in person.
An alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Ahmedabad, Anita spent her early years in advertising, market research and marketing consultancy. Then, along with her husband, sports broadcaster Harsha Bhogle, she set up Prosearch Consultants. Anita is on the board of governors of IIM Jammu. She is a sudoku and yoga enthusiast and an amateur keyboard player.
Her recent book Equal, Yet Different speaks about exactly how women want to be treated, and need to be treated.
Despite the growing number of women acquiring professional degrees, they remain under-represented and almost invisible when it comes to top leadership positions or decision-making roles. This discussion on her book is for the sensitive and rational intellectuals who have a belief in this societal change.
